The death toll stands at 11,904.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 358,317 up from 356,973 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 239,880.
Currently, 3,854 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 259 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,035,627 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 20,095 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 66,711. Pest County is the second most affected, with 44,537 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (20,180 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 28,422.
Until now, 143,184 people have been vaccinated, and 6,944 of them have already received the second dose as well.
