The death toll stands at 11,811.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 356,973 up from 355,662 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 237,362.
Currently, 3,959 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 274 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,018,389 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 19,908 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 66,525. Pest County is the second most affected, with 44,361 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (20,133 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 28,032.
Until now, 138,983 people have been vaccinated, and 5,815 of them have already received the second dose as well.
