The death toll stands at 11,968.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 359,574 up from 358,317 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 241,472.
Currently, 3,793 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 254 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,052,068 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 18,929 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 66,917. Pest County is the second most affected, with 44,693 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (20,218 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 28,987.
Until now, 145,257 people have been vaccinated, and 8,135 of them have already received the second dose as well.
