Around 18,000 applications have been submitted in the framework of the HUF 75 bln funding program launched by the government in January.
Under the scheme, households may apply for up to HUF 5 million in support, covering two-thirds of investment costs.
The ministry said the scheme could support as many as 19,000 solar panel investments.
