The first section of the 120,000 cubic meter depot is 25,000 cubic meters large and was opened this week, Maár said. The Aszód-Galgamácsa depot was established at the end of the 1980s following the analysis of geological conditions and public approval, Maár said. The depot received 200,000 cubic meters of waste since it was opened and it may be in use after the new development for six or seven more years.
