The price of bottled gas would fall by 10% from June 1 compared to December 31, 2012 under a proposed amendment submitted to parliament by an MP of governing Fidesz on Friday. The proposal would amend legislation on natural gas, and would extend price regulation to bottled gas. The government mandated a 10% reduction of household electricity, gas and district heating prices from the start of the year, and plans a similar-size reduction of fees for water, sewage and rubbish pickup.
