The Hungarian life insurance market is starting to return to the classic type of life insurance that doesn’t bundle insurance premiums with investments, according to András Orosz, general manager of insurer Dimenzió Biztosító.
In this regard, Dimenzió has launched a new life insurance product of this type, exclusively for those aged 50 and over. The company claims to be the first to offer such a product to those in this age group.
In recent years, Hungarians have favored so-called “unit-linked” life insurance policies, which invest the insured person’s monthly premiums with investment products, and offer a payout at the end of the insured period.
