Supporting pandemic defense is the main purpose of the 440 sqm lab, but it will also conduct research and provide services to partners in the industrial sector.
The lab was established in the framework of a project of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH) in which the Eötvös Loránd Research Network (ELKH) Research Centre for Natural Sciences, the Servier Research Institute, and CRU Hungary participated.
