Trade in shares of oil and gas company MOL was suspended on the Budapest Stock Exchange a few minutes after 1 pm on Tuesday.

In a resolution published shortly after the suspension was announced, BSE chief executive György Mohai said he “obliges the issuer to disclose the extraordinary information necessitating the suspension of trading in accordance with the exchange regulations.”

The suspension, which started at 1:15 pm, runs until the end of the day, but could be lifted before that “in the case such information is released prior to the end of the suspension period,” the resolution said.

MOL shares traded at HUF 23,310 before the suspension, up 4.1% from the previous close.
