The company will supply and install all hardware, software and network equipment at the hospital. Synergon’s subcontractor Signal Kft will be in charge of cabling, as well as installing a nurses’ calling system and a network of clocks. The companies will also set up a VOIP telephone system.
Hungary’s Defense Ministry called the tender in January 2006. Synergon expects to complete the project by Q2 2007. It has also signed a contract to provide support for the entire system.
