Only one fifth of respondents in a joint research by Policy Agenda and Ipsos see stronger competition on the market. On a scale of 1-5 respondents rated the price competition of the Hungarian electricity market only 2.6 points.
The majority, 58% of the respondents said that not a single electricity service provider approached them with their offer. This result is rather surprising in the light of the fact that 14% of SMEs are considering a change in electricity service providers for more favorable prices and better service.
An even better prospect are the companies that have not yet decide, but would consider a switch if they were presented with better terms. They added up 37% of the sample.
