The forint traded at 314.59 to the euro on the interbank forex market around 5:30 in the evening on Wednesday, practically level with its rate late Tuesday. The forint firmed to 279.70 from 280.71 against the dollar. It also strengthened to the Swiss franc: to 290.73 from 291.30.
