The tender is the third one ÁPV has called for the company. The first two were declared invalid, the last one on February 9, when ÁPV said neither of the bids, submitted by Germany’s Rhenus along with its Hungarian unit, and the other by a consortium of Erdért, Erdért’s property development unit and Multicont, fulfilled the necessary criteria. In the latest tender, ÁPV said it would change the conditions of the purchase contract to make it easier for investors to use non-integral property at the site. ÁPV will assess applications on the basis of the purchase price, business strategy to operate the dockyards and the value of investments to be made. The tender documentation costs Ft 1.5 million.
