„Negotiators from the two countries reached agreement in Ljubljana in the early hours of this morning after three days of talks,” Slovenian Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak said today. Russia won’t repay the debt, which dates back to 1991, with oil or electricity though it may do so with military equipment, Vizjak said. Trade between the two countries amounted to €1.06 billion ($1.4 billion) through September, according to the Finance Ministry. Slovenia is the only one of the 10 new European Union members to adopt the euro from January 1st. (Bloomberg)
