The network would be used for electronic communication between state bodies as well as between Slovak authorities and NATO and EU institutions, the National Security Office (NBU) said in the proposal. The network, which is worth 1.2 billion Slovak koruna ($53 million) without VAT, would markedly lower the expenditures on sending classified data, the NBU said.
