The government has appointed National Economy Minister György Matolcsy Hungary’s chief negotiator in the process of preparing the European Union’s next seven-year budget, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows. EU leaders started talks on the 2014-2020 budget at a summit in Brussels on Thursday.
