Budapest Clears HUF 24 bln Loan for Public Transport Company

The Budapest municipal council approved a contract for HUF 24 billion in credit between the Budapest Public Transport Center (BKK) and K&H Bank at a meeting on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The credit contract was cleared with a vote of 17 for, 2 against, and 9 abstentions.

The credit will ensure BKK's liquidity between June and September.

It must be repaid by September 18, according to the report.
