Yahoo announced a week earlier that it agreed to acquire practically all of the assets of Hungary’s Tensa, though it did not disclose a purchase price. “Indextools’ technological platform will help clients to analyze their online marketing activities, so that they can react to shortcomings accordingly,” Yahoo Vice President of Strategic Data Solutions Bassel Ojjeh told Napi Gazdaság. Though Tensa will be wound up after the acquisition is closed, Yahoo will expand the company’s research centre in Budapest, adding another 15-20 software engineers to the center’s current staff of 40-50. The transaction is expected to be closed in the H1 of 2008. (MTI-Econews)
