The basis of fair pension payment could be the system of individual accounts. Based on the current proposal, the content of the individual accounts will not be physical capital, but credit, and it will work based on the same pays-as-you-go system. This means that the government pays the pension of the currently paid contributions to retired people.

Only husbands, wives and children could inherit the accounts, and naturally they could only use it for pension purposes. Pension for widows and orphan care would be separate services.

Every one could gain a pension entitlement equivalent of their contribution to the maintenance of the system. The contribution would be judged based on the paid pension contribution and the number of raised children, Magyar Nemzet wrote.

According to the plans, those who raise at least two children would be able to retire with more favorable conditions. People raising fewer children than “expected” and/or do not provide them with proper schooling would have to retire at an older age.
