Deichmann Magyarország sold 3.17 million pairs of shoes in 2010, up from 2.67 million in 2009, making it market leader, a position the company has held since 2006.
Deichmann has 72 stores in Hungary. It opened 11 new stores last year and plans to open another 10 this year.
Deichmann stores had 544 staff at the end of 2010.
