The Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA) is currently in talks with seven service providers regarding their possible expansion to Hungary, which could create 1,500 new jobs in the country, the business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Thursday.
HITA said four companies have so far this year decided to set up centers in Hungary. One of these is Adminex, a company providing administration services, and another one is DHL, which has established an order-management centre in the country. The other two companies have not been named.
HITA said it has seen increasing interest in the area of production investments, adding that there are ongoing talks with 68 investors, up 20% from a year earlier.
