The company has so far invested Ft 15 billion in its operations, creating more than 2,000 jobs, deputy CEO Attila Tullner said at the ceremony. The new plant will employ 112 people to turn out a weekly 160 tons of hotdogs. With the expanded capacity, SáGa aims to boost its domestic sales of hotdogs by 40% within five years. It also aims to increase export sales.
SáGa plans to double its annual turnover by 2010 from Ft 34 billion in 2005, Tullner said.
