The Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA) is managing 89 projects at present that are expected to bring investments of €6bn to Hungary, the agency’s head Erzsébet Dobos said at a press conference on Monday.
Positive decisions have already been taken on 19 of the projects, worth a combined €2.3bn, Dobos said. These investors have promised to create more than 6,600 jobs, she added.
Dobos said the investments are mainly in service centers as well as in the vehicle, logistics, food and electronics industries. The main investor countries are Germany, South Korea and the United States, she added.
