Foxconn is a subsidiary of Hon Hai Precision Industry and supplies electronic components for big name companies such as, Microsoft, Apple Inc., Cisco and Dell. If the deal goes through, Foxconn will begin assembling iPads at facilities in Brazil as early as this year, stated Brazil’s science and technology minister Aloizio Mercadante.
Hungary has also been working diligently with the Chinese government to sustain and promote further economic, trade and investment between the two countries. Hungary is currently China’s third largest trading partner in Central and Eastern Europe, while Hungary is the largest importer in the region as well, according to xinhuanet.com.
