This will allow festivalgoers traveling from more than 100 countries to arrange their journey more easily and conveniently, from packing their bags to arriving at the K Bridge.

The Sziget Eye, the festival’s iconic Ferris wheel, will also feature Wizz Air branding this year. Rising high above the Danube, the attraction will underline the connection between the two brands while offering festivalgoers an experience evoking takeoff and rising above the clouds.

Eszter Laczó, head of brand and marketing at Wizz Air, said the partnership was a natural fit.

“Wizz Air started out from Hungary more than 20 years ago and has grown into an unavoidable international player. The same can be said of Sziget, which has a history of three decades and has brightened the summers of many young Hungarians, including several thousand Wizz Air colleagues, by holding one of Europe’s leading music and cultural festivals year after year on Hajógyári Island. We are proud that the two Hungarian brands can now work together for the success of this year’s festival,” she said.

Tamás Kádár, the festival’s chief organizer, said Sziget’s international character makes the cooperation especially relevant.

“Sziget is Europe’s most international festival, whose cultural diversity is completed by visitors arriving from countless points around the world. The experience, however, begins with the journey, in which Wizz Air is our valuable partner,” he added.
