There are already three property companies listed on the BÉT: Graphisoft Park SE, the recently spun-off property unit of software company Graphisoft; Fotex Nyrt, a former retailer converted into a real estate holding company; and developer BIF Nyrt.
BÉT president Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy said on Monday that the Budapest bourse hopes to list Hungary’s TriGránit Zrt, one of the biggest developers in the region, in addition to a planned floatation of the shares on another European bourse.
The Orco Property Group owns several historic buildings in central Budapest, including the BÉT building itself.
