LEWIS PR has arrived in Hungary: the London headquartered international PR Agency is opening in Budapest with three consultants, in order to strengthen its network in light of recent major wins. It is also to provide expansion opportunities for existing staff and accounts. The new offices in Budapest, Barcelona, Brussels and Frankfurt will take the global LEWIS network of offices to twenty-five across the Europe, US and APAC regions.

Further office openings worldwide are likely to be announced over the summer and it is expected that the LEWIS Group will grow headcount by at least 30% over the next financial year. The expansion forms part of LEWIS PR’s global plans to double its office network over the next two years. In the past twelve months, LEWIS has added some strong international brands such as Sanyo Fisher Sales (Europe), Second Life and Lexmark to its portfolio, and enjoyed significant growth from Europe (35% to date 2006/7). Based on this success LEWIS has opened in these areas to further strengthen its local, on the ground PR support.

“There is some very strong talent among these regions that will not only add to our offering locally, but also to the international client offering as a whole,” said Andres Wittermann, VP Europe. “We’ve also opened our Munich-based PR training centre, where we hope to train another fifteen staff over the next six months, to help support these offices. I’m delighted to have such great talent on board.”
