E.ON paid €300 million for Mol’s natural gas transport and storage units and will assume about €600 million in debt. Additional payments of up to €290 million may be made depending on possible price adjustments.
Mol will spend the proceeds of the sale on exploration, refining and marketing, the company said in today’s statement.
