MONTANA Knowledge Management is spending HUF 266 million on developing the system, including HUF 148 million in state and European Union grant money, said managing director Pál Vadász. The project should be completed by November 2012, he added.
Péter Jakab, who is in charge of security at MKB Bank, said a security guard can watch 2-4 cameras at once for about 20 minutes, but MONTANA Knowledge Management’s security system can analyze data from 8-20 more cameras.
Between 30 and 40 violent bank robberies take place in Hungary each year, putting the country among Scandinavian countries in terms of numbers, Jakab said.
