Hungarian national carrier Malév expects a new online trip planning service to generate hundreds of millions of forints of additional revenue for the airline each year, chairman János Berényi said at a press conference on Monday.

Startup costs for the trip planning service were about HUF 20 million, an amount the airline expects to recoup within a month.

Malév CEO Lorant Limburger said every effort was being made to improve the position of the airline and further developments would be announced in the coming months.
