Whit this transaction Márffy has 500,000 shares left, meaning 15.27% of the stakes. Közép-Európai Média és Kiadó Szolgáltató Zrt has raised its stake in Hungarian bookseller Bookline.hu Nyrt from 30.53% to 45.36% in a recently ended public purchase offer, Bookline.hu announced on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) on today.
Közép-Európai Média és Kiadó Szolgáltató paid Ft 439.5 million (€1.7 million) for the 14.83% stake it acquired in the buyout offer, calculating with the offer price of Ft 905 per share. The offer price was just a fraction over Bookline.hu’s turnover-weighted average share price of Ft 902 since it was listed in August 2006.
Before the buyout offer, other big owners of Bookline.hu were Márffy (28.24%), Gábor Földváry (11.6%), Tamás Korányi (9.92%) and Forrás Nyrt (9.87%). Hungary’s financial markets supervisor, PSZÁF has not approved the transaction yet. (bet.hu, Bg, hirek.prim.hu)
