Rába is developing its own brand of defense technology at a cost of more than HUF 96 million for one of its armored troop carrier vehicles, regional daily Kisalföld reported on Friday.
In an 18-month project that started in January, Rába’s H14 trucks will be made bullet-, shell- and mine-proof to surpass NATO-standards.
The company earlier won HUF 58.6 million in EU and government funding for the project.
