Equity investments amounted to €944 million in the period, more than three times the amount a year earlier, the Economy Ministry said in a statement today.
Mol’s sale of its natural gas businesses to Germany’s E.ON AG contributed more than €500 million to the investment figures, the ministry said. Companies operating in Hungary reinvested an estimated €579 million in the first quarter, €123 million more than in the same period of last year, the ministry said.
