Hungarian producers will be showing at two trade fairs early this year – the Internationale Grune Woche and the international fruit and vegetable marketing fair FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012 – with support from Hungary’s Agrar Marketing Centrum (AMC), AMC told MTI in a statement.

The statement emphasised that Germany is one of the biggest recipient markets for Hungary’s farming products.

The Internationale Grune Woche, one of the world’s biggest fairs for agriculture, food and horticulture, will be held in Berlin between January 20-29. Hungary has been participating in the fair since 1972.

AMC said 16 Hungarian producers – Alföldi Garaboncias, a Birkas Palinka, Borsa Hungary, Egri Korona Borhaz, Hazai Hus, Herbatea Manufaktura, Hortobagyi Halgazdasag, Kurcsi, Mabarcell, Magyar Gomba Kertesz, Magyar Turizmus, Merian Foods, Multifolium, Pannon Tokaj, Univer Product and Vam-Sa – will be showing at the Hungarian stand.

FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012 will be held between February 8-10, and ten Hungarian producers and the trade association FruitVeB will be participating.
