The best the Hungarian construction industry can expect in 2012 is that the sector’s contraction will come to an end, Laszlo Koji, deputy head of building sector association EVOSZ, told MTI on Wednesday.
The number of contracts at the end of 2011 for construction companies was down 20pc from the same period the year before, which is not a good sign, Mr Koji said.
However, some companies expect a 5-8pc rise in turnover for the year, Mr Koji added.
