At present, foreign tourists stay just two and a half days in Hungary and spend about €290 on average, Princzinger said on news channel M1.

Hungaryʼs tourism industry needs to emphasize quality over quantity, he said. Foreign tourists should not be coming to Hungary just because it is cheap, he added.
