The number of landline telephone connections fell to 2.126m in August from 2.140m in July, the National Media Telecommunications Authority (NMHH) said on Wednesday.
The number of voice over cable television connections rose 9,000 to 660,000 in August, while the number of voice over internet protocol connections rose 4,000 to 114,000.
The number of landlines per hundred people was 29.1% in August.
