Holders of bankcards from Hungarian or foreign issuers made 209 million transactions worth Ft 5,249 billion forints (€19.8 billion) in Hungary last year. The number of transactions increased by 8% over 2004, and turnover was up 10%. The bankcards of Hungarian issuers were used for 203 million transactions worth Ft 5,220 billion in Hungary and abroad. The transactions included cash withdrawals and purchases.
