“In the observed period, the number of employed people was 4,127 thousand, 4.1% more than in the same period of the previous year. Some 4,097 thousand of employed people were aged 15–64, their employment rate was 61.8%, which was 3.1 percentage points higher than a year before,” according to KSH.
Analysts note that changes in the way KSH collects and handles data may push the figures lower, but there does indeed appear to be an increase in hiring.
