The number of registered job-seekers in Hungary fell to 573,600 at the end of September in Hungary according to seasonally-adjusted data, down 7,400 from August, fresh data published by the National Employment Service (NFSZ) shows.
Unadjusted figures show the number of the registered job-seekers was 536,000, down 2.2% from August, and down 1.2% from September 2010.
Around 137,400 of the registered job-seekers had looked for work for more than twelve months, down from both the previous month and a year earlier, NFSZ said.
There were 51,000 new jobs posted at employment offices in September, up 15.6% from August and up 78.9% from a year earlier. About 67% of the new jobs were subsidized by the state.
