The forint weakened to the Swiss franc on Wednesday morning’s interbank market, trading at 264.10 to the Swiss franc at 10:15 a.m., compared to a rate of 261.05 at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The forint strengthened to the euro and the US dollar on Wednesday morning, trading at 274.50 to the euro and 191.00 to the dollar at 10:15 a.m., compared to rates of 275.09 and 192.73, respectively, at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dealers say they expect Wednesday interbank trade to be calmer than it has been over recent days, adding that the forint is unlikely to return to all-time weakest rates against the Swiss franc reached on Tuesday.
