German carmaker Audi could inaugurate a HUF 9-10 billion logistics park at its base in Győr at the end of the summer, Károly Tallósi, the owner of construction company A-K Építőipari, which is building and leasing the park, told MTI. Plans for the park were finalised at the end of December and groundwork started soon after, Tallósi said. At present, 60-80 people are working at the site, but the number will rise close to 600 when the project picks up. Audi is currently putting the finishing touches on a big expansion at its base in Győr. The €900 million expansion is to raise output at the base to 125,000 cars a year from 2013, up from more than 33,500 in 2012.
