The hotel was first offered for sale for HUF 2.1 billion. In the second round of tender, which expired in March, the hotel failed to attract any offers at a price of HUF 1.9 billion.
The other hotel owned by Cívis Hotels, Best Western Hotel Kálvin (also in Debrecen), has been offered for HUF 450 million after the earlier unsuccessful offers at HUF 530 million and HUF 480 million, Buga added.
A third hotel earlier owned by Cívis Hotels in the spa town of Hajdúszoboszló was offered for HUF 1.25 billion and sold last December for HUF 800 million.
Applicants are expected to have an opportunity to bid for the Grand Hotel Aranybika at the end of May.
