Hungarian drugmaker Richter Gedeon on Wednesday said it commissioned UniCredit Bank Hungary to buy back 20,000 of its shares on the stock exchange.

The treasury shares will be used for Richter’s employee share ownership plan.

The shares are worth about HUF 716 million at Tuesday’s closing price.
