Zolnai oversaw the expansion of GE Capital’s Russian unit and he became the unit’s head in 2010. Earlier, he was managing director of Poland’s Bank Pekao, a unit of Unicredit.
Zolnai will replace Sean Morrissey, who was recently named to head GE Capital’s bank in the Czech Republic.
