Domestic sales fell to HUF 42.5 billion in 2010 from HUF 44.3 billion in 2009 and accounted for more than 51% of revenue. Exports rose to HUF 40.4 billion from HUF 39.6 billion.
Henkel Magyarország spent almost HUF 1.1 billion on investments in 2010, mainly at its production units. It spent HUF 375 million on developments at its plant in Kőrösladány and it started construction of a €14.7 million glue plant in Tatabánya in October.
Henkel Magyarország’s average headcount was 548 in 2010, but the number will rise to 600 with the completion of the unit in Tatabánya.
