Revenue fell to HUF 341 million in 2010 from HUF 447 million in the same period last year.
Externet noted that discounting HUF 108 million in revenue from the December 2010 sale of its ADSL services to Magyar Telekom booked in the first quarter, as well as HUF 22 million in one-off depreciation related to the acquisition of Vivanet, the company had after-tax losses of HUF 46m on turnover of HUF 233 million in Q1.
Counting the sale of its ADSL services, Externet had operating profit of HUF 66 million in first quarter of 2011, compared to operating losses of HUF 59 million in Q1 of 2010, and EBITDA of 127 million, compared to EBITDA of 55 million in the same period last year.
Externet’s consolidated earnings include those of 100%-owned unit UltraWeb Kft.
Externet, which trades in the B-category at the Budapest Stock Exchange, has generated HUF 28,560 in turnover so far this year. Externet shares was last traded on February 25.
