The Budapest Stock Exchange blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade up 1.8% at 18,975.
The four blue chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:
Oil and gas group MOL was up 2.7% at HUF 17,350.
OTP Bank was up 1.7% at HUF 4,550.
Magyar Telekom was up 1.6% at HUF 510.
Drugmaker Richter was up 1.5% at HUF 35,005.
On Tuesday, the BUX closed down 2.5% to 18,639 on a heavy turnover of HUF 31.73 billion.
