The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade up 1.29% at 18,076.43.
BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:
OTP Bank was up 2.44% at HUF 4,190;
Oil and gas company MOL was up 1.45% at HUF 16,435;
Magyar Telekom was up 0.60% at HUF 505;
Drug company Richter was up 0.47% at HUF 34,560.
On Tuesday, the BUX closed up 0.95% to 17,846.91 on a turnover of HUF 17.95 billion.
