The company was the only bidder in the tender to convert Tüskecsarnok into a conference hall and operate it, National Asset Management Company (MNV) spokesman Gabor Száraz told MTI on Monday, confirming earlier press reports, adding they plan to complete detailed talks on the contract with Atlantis by the end of October.

Atlantis Congress and Events Hall plans to transform the Tüskecsarnok into a conference center with a capacity of at least 4,000 people at an estimated cost of Ft 8 billion – Ft 9 billion (€33.73 million – €37.95 million), the business daily Világgazdaság wrote on Friday.

Atlantis Congress and Events Hall is owned by the KÉSZ construction company and individual stakeholder Tamás Flesch. (MTI – Econews)
